MaKenna Newman joined the North Valley SC coaching staff in 2012-2013 and has assisted in a variety of roles.  MaKenna is a favorite among parents and players in the KinderKicks Program, Junior Competitive and Developmental Girls Program.  Makenna played for the Olympic Development Program team for two years while playing for an award-winning SC del Sol 94 Girls White competitive girls team from 2005-2010.  She helped her team achieve five State Cup runner up titles.  In 2010, she played for the State Cup winning Sereno 94 White girls team.  From this successful club career, MaKenna went on to play collegiately for Grand Canyon University in 2011-2012 and led her Paradise Valley Community College Women's team to the National Championship earning the Most Valuable Player Award for the National Tournament in 2012.  MaKenna has her United States Soccer Federation "E" License.  We are very excited to have this talented coach on our staff!
