North Valley Soccer Club is pleased to offer preparation for players interested in college soccer opportunities!  Thanks to the cooperative effort between North Valley SC and Desert Foothills SC, the Desert Elite College Prep Academy is now open to North Valley SC players ages 13 to 18.

The Academy prepares players from both a team and individual aspect with a plan that takes them through the college decision and recruiting process.  The professional coaching staff prepares players to compete at the next level through training that encompasses all aspects of skill, tactical, psychological, and athletic training.

The Academy consists of three parts which prepare players on and off the field, as well as prepare their parents with the necessary guidance, tools and resources. Through a series of seminars and training sessions we take our players and parents step-by-step through the critical stages of the recruiting and the decision-making process.

College Resource Center (CRC)

The CRC is a virtual and in-person tool that provides our players and their parents the necessary reference materials, forms, websites and more.  You have direct access to Tim Marchisotto, Director of the Desert Elite College Prep Academy, to ask questions at any time! The CRC will provide a series of seminars with college coaches (Division I, II, II, NAIA and Jr. College), former and current college players, sports psychologists, athletic trainers & sports medicine doctors and financial aid experts.

Academic Preparatory Program (APP)

The APP offers SAT/ACT prep courses along with series of tutorial sessions that focus on filling out applications, writing essays, letters of introduction, emails to prospective coaches and more. Samples, tutorials, and additional resource materials are available online. Academic monitoring and performance is also be an aspect of the program. Participants are responsible for turning in Academic Progress Reports. These reports monitor the academic activity of our players, to ensure that they reach their academic goals. This also serves as a necessary tool to keep academic performance up and prepare players for academic expectations at the next level.

Player Checklist (PCL)

The PCL is a step-by-step list of the key seminars and activities that make up the program. This takes players sequentially through the college recruiting and decision-making process. All players that successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Academy.
