Coach Greg McDermott holds a United States Soccer Federation National D license. Greg has been with NVSC for 4 years now. In addition to his successful coaching and playing experience, Greg was President of Juventus (later re-named Pinnacle Soccer Academy) for 7 years and a Board Member of Valley Youth Soccer League (VYSL) for 4 years. He also coached at Sereno for 3 years.

In 2008, Greg joined Coach Brock Heykoop at Pinnacle HS to help coach the Pioneers to an exciting 5A-II State Championship in which 9 of the boys had played for Greg previously at both Juventus and Sereno. The team again won the the State Championship in 2010.  Greg holds a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Arizona State University.  Greg still currently plays and was a youth player with Sereno, Cisco, and PV Shamrocks
